Due to some indifferences, Swagged Out Stock has been transplanted over to a new blog! Yay!
Check it out, 99% has been updated.

You can get to the other sites from there.
Swagged Out ROMs are based on stock, deodexed releases and strive to maintain a stock feel. At the same time, Swagged Out likes to add a bit of Swag as well.

Dual Remap Dock
Starting with SWAG FLU H1N1 (v1.9.0.8.5), Swagged Out Stock has a sweet feature (thanks to tommytomatoe) that allows you to redirect or "remap" the the left and the right buttons on your dock. This is a really exciting because because SOS and The EVO Classic are the only two Sense 1.0 HTC EVO 4G ROMs to have this feature. Skip after the break to see the how-to.
By default, the HTC Sense dock looks something like this:
With an APPS | PHONE | PERSONALIZE button orientation.
Some users may have noticed that SWAG FLU contains a new dock that sports the PHONE | APPS | PERSONALIZE configuration. This is more practical because you are generally going to want to open your app drawer more than you are going to make phone calls.
Remapping allows you to change the left and the right buttons in this configuration. If you text more, replace the Phone button with Messages. Don't add widgets to your home screen all day? Switch the right button to your browser, Facebook, voice search... whatever!
Now, how do we remap these buttons? We'll go over that after the break.

A Quick Note on MetaMorph Themes
Just so ya know... When you download a MetaMorph theme... Don't rename it. Don't even let it get the swagged_out_theme (1).zip going. The file needs to have it's exact name or it won't work and give the error ".xml file missing or invalid."
Hopefully that helps ;)
Hopefully that helps ;)

Ads on the blog
Other the past few months, there have been a lot of ads on the side of the blog. Recently, you may have noticed that the ads disappeared. One day, I woke up and thought to myself... I f---in' hate ads, I bet you guys do too.
Unfortunately, since occasional donations and ads are the only things keeping Team Swag from starving, the ads remained.
However, in a move that has stopped money from flowing into Team Swag's offices... the ads have been removed.
To keep the ads removed I finally (which I truly, truly hate to do) am turning to ask for a little love from Swag Nation.
Whether you want to contribute $1, $2, $5, $20, or $1,000,000 feel free to give what you can.
If you cannot contribute, do not worry... Swagged Out Stock will continue to have updates and continue to be Swagged Out to the max ;)
The best way to contribute is to send a PayPal payment to this email address (just copy and paste the link to the left). If you want to contribute any other way, feel free to contact me at swaggedoutrom@gmail.com (but don't send payments here).
The latest update to Swagged Out Stock will be released in the next 24 hours. I cannot wait for this update and hope you cannot either!

SOS App BETA
In honor of the SOS blog reaching 100,000 page views, I have decided to release the SOS App for public release.DOWNLOAD (no password necessary)
Remember, this app is 100% stable, but it is not 100% complete.
The app currently has four tabs: News (which gets its content from this blog), Themes (which gets its content from the Themes page on this blog - which is out of date BTW), Q&A (which hasn't really been touched yet), and BETA Themes - No DLs yet (which is what the final Themes section will look like - and yes, there are no downloads... yet).
The point of this app is simple, I'm not Sprint, I can't send you a text if something is wrong with your phone. However, I have been running this blog to keep you all updated with the latest Swagged Out news. Originally, this app was simply going to be a way for you all to stay up to date without having to search the internet to find this page first.
But then, PFCLand (who is MIA at the moment) and I sat down and thought up a really cool idea to provide an app that would allow SOS users a place on their EVO where they could download all of the add-ons that Team Swag provides to their users.
For months, I have had these ideas up in my head. I really wanted to release this sooner and am still hesitant to release this now (since it is still a bit away from completion). But I feel you guys can appreciate the app for what it's worth and hopefully you can enjoy the app in it's incomplete form.
In the next few weeks, I hope to provide you all with another great release for the ROM. At the same time, I will be providing the app with incremental updates. The app does not need to be re-downloaded; you simply need to hit the refresh button (lower left) for the app to reset its content (and update itself).
Last but not least: The SOS App is coming to the Android Market soon! More details to come!
Swagged Out Review
Blogger, Evo User, has posted a video review of the latest version of Swagged Out Stock. If you have ever been hesitant about checking out the ROM and want to see all of the features in action - this is the perfect video for you. Another big surprise is coming soon to all of you SOS users out there. Prepare yourselves.

v1.9.0.7 | SNAP BACK SWAG
For those that don't know, my EVO 4G took a swim this past weekend. Help pay for my deductible and click on some ads. I don't like asking for donations, this allows you to get me some $$ without making my users having to spend any ;)
Keep Swaggin'!
Full Themes
Very soon, there will be a new Swagged Out blog dedicated to themes and themed elements. This will be utilized in the SOS App. Until then, be sure to check out the Swagification Post at XDA to stay up-to-date with themes and themed elements.

The MetaMorph Theme: Explained
I love me some MetaMorph themes. Y'all know that by now. But why? Normally, devs give you an easy flashable .zip that includes a bunch of files that make your EVO really cool. But the thing that sucks about flashable .zips is that you can't pick and choose what pieces of themes you want to add.
Example
You want: the stock battery without percentage, the stock lock bar, Comfortaa font, black/green dock, Messages right button, and the nostalgic Swagged status bar.
Normally, you would have to either learn how to edit the .apks yourself or bug me enough times until I actually make a flashable .zip for you ;)
Luckily, with MetaMorph themes, you can add exactly what you want to your Swagged Out EVO - because let's face it, we all want to customize our Swag :)
How to MetaMorph
So, I been getting a lot of questions about how these work. I made a YouTube tutorial awhile back and realized I never posted it for you guys to check out. Here it is below:
Remember, anytime you flash an update, your mods will be removed. But MetaMorphs are super easy to add, so it will only take you about five minutes to return to your customized Swag.
Hopefully this clears up any confusion. If any of you have questions, comment below!

v1.9.0.5 RC2.2
Well, we've gone through a rocky road these last couple releases thanks to the instability of Superuser (an app all of us rooted users rely on). Luckily, the app has been stabilized. RC2.2 has updated both the app and the Superuser binary for the user. Also note, as an added bonus, Swag = ON users will notice a new bottom bar on the notification pulldown. We hope you like it, as you will see, this does make the ROM look much more professional.
Hang in there SOS users! Big updates are right around the corner (about 2-4 weeks). Until then, enjoy this mandatory update.

RC2.1
Not gonna lie, I haven't tested this ROM out. If it doesn't boot, re-flash RC2. Do let me know your results though.
ROM Manager and RC2.1
So I know a lot of you guys out there use ROM Manager to keep up to date with SOS. Unfortunately, their servers are having some issues working right now. Feel free to head over to the downloads section to manually download the latest update.
Also, SOS is receiving a very minor update that can be flash right over RC1 or RC2.1. All it does is very Superuser back to the really old version (that had ZERO problems). So yeah, I know that's an important app, so I figured I would fix it.
Enjoy!

What's up with Superuser!?
Dear SOS Users,
All right. This is definitely the biggest issue facing the SOS ROM right now... AND IT ISN'T EVEN ROM-RELATED. Boo! (That wasn't meant to scare you, I'm just pissed lol)
In RC2, I only included the latest release of Superuser (because I though it was "fixed"). Now, you can't use the uninstall update fix (since it is not "fixed"). So, I offer you all two choices to fix your Superuser woes:
And thanks for your continued support of Swagged Out Stock!

- (You may want to clear data first) In Superuser: Preferences > Automatic Response > Allow > Done :) - or -
- Permanent solution (kinda): Flash this and flash this at the same time. This will get you the classic Superuser (that doesn't suck). (First file is the Superuser app, the second is it's bin file)
