Swagged Out ROMs are based on stock, deodexed releases and strive to maintain a stock feel. At the same time, Swagged Out likes to add a bit of Swag as well.
Hey first n foremost shout out to u for this rom. I have an Evo 4G flashed to boost mobile and recently flashed the 1.9.0.5 sos but I'm not able to send mms, only receive because the mms connection settings are locced to sprint and need boost mobile servers to do so. So I was wondering if u can enable to edit the connection settings so I can change the mms server to boost mobile. Please and thank u. Any reply, help, or feedback is greatly appreciated. Btw keep up the great work, only issue I've had wit this rom.
"Is this a later release than 2.2, v1.9.0.5 - 10.31"
RC 2.2 was released on 10.24 and is now obsolete. The latest update is v1.9.0.5 that was posted on 10.31 and the EAPs (which are separate from the ROM but necessary for the ROM to funciton well) were updated 11.1.
@trae05boi The MMS can be enabled though other methods. Head over to XDA and ask JD2589 for help. He uses SOS with Boost and has everything working fine.
Dont laugh, but is there a way to just flash this like it is an update rather than wipe the phone and have it down for a day? Doing these fresh installs takes forever to add in my apps. Is there a way to just update like an OTA?
Is this supposed to have a different boot animation? I have flashed the new ROM (for the second time) and it has the same one. I don't mind it, I just want to make sure nothing has gone wrong.
This one a bit stable but has some minor issues like random restarts and the camera doesn't work from time to time I don't know if anyone is having this same issues but its something to look into .. thanks again and keep it up ..
@ Grim- Yeah, I had the same issue with the restart and wouldn't boot to the main screen. Does the essential app pack solve this problem? If so, how to I install it?
I am having the same troubles with Swagged Out just randomly restarting and getting stuck in a reboot loop. I LOVE the ROM, but since I use my phone for my alarm clock, I had to go back to CM7 for now... When I installed, I did a full wipe though recovery and yet... I tried it with both SWAG ON and SWAG Off. I am using Freedom Kernel Universal.
I am doing a full wipe, I use Rom Manager and RA for the wipe. I usually run Freedom 0.9 kernel, I don't us any overclocking features as of yet. I want to get a rom running smooth first before I start in on that half, so I know what is or is not working :)
Definitely stable? Will it get me from RI to NH and back without another chernobyl?
ReplyDeleteI have 2.2. Only reset once, so far ok.
ReplyDeleteHow do i get rid of the recent programs in the pulldown?
I want to put a pic on the pull down from Marjurita
@steveyos I don't make Google Maps.. that's up to Google to prevent Chernobyl III. Lol
ReplyDelete@rackflot It's coming.. however you should be able to use Martijua (or however he spells his name) backgrounds.
Just flashed, we'll see how it does through the day tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteAll SOS updates don't require a wipe unless noted
ReplyDeleteThere's no new boot screen
Is SOS now using a SBC kernel?

ReplyDelete@steveyos SOS is not currently running the new kernel packaged with the latest update. It will be coming soon.

ReplyDelete@bswift What kernel and clock speed are you using? Did you do a full wipe before installing the ROM?

ReplyDelete@Kenderkin Make sure you are doing a FULL wipe: http://www.goodandevo.net/2011/11/how-to-do-a-full-wipe-on-your-rooted-htc-evo.html
ReplyDeleteIf so, what clock speed and which flavor of the kernel are you running?
