v1.9.0.5 RC2.2

Well, we've gone through a rocky road these last couple releases thanks to the instability of Superuser (an app all of us rooted users rely on). Luckily, the app has been stabilized. RC2.2 has updated both the app and the Superuser binary for the user. Also note, as an added bonus, Swag = ON users will notice a new bottom bar on the notification pulldown. We hope you like it, as you will see, this does make the ROM look much more professional.

Hang in there SOS users! Big updates are right around the corner (about 2-4 weeks). Until then, enjoy this mandatory update.

  2. Just flashed, it hung on the HTC startup screen. I'm restoring to RC2.1 now. Great job on the ROM by the way, it is so far my favorite!

  4. @Angel Try to redownload.

@brooklyn Really? I have thebest battery life I have ever had with my EVO? Mind heading over to the XDA or Pocketables forum and posting a screenshot of your battery consumption?

  5. What do you keep your clock speeds at? You can put the max down to the 500/600's and not have any performance hits. Well I guess that depends on how much junk you use, but personally I get no performance drops and I just raise it if I'm using google maps navigation or playing a game. Talking on the phone, the browser, things like that all work fine at lower clock speeds but if you have your max set to 1000 then it's going to use 1000 and it's unnecessary but android isn't smart enough to realize that. For safety, never have it set on boot.

Hey sam, you working on the wimax notifications yet? I managed to kind of get version 2011-01-30.2 working but not enough to trust it. Any chance of a pink/purple alternating option or is the wimax LED not capable of producing 823583258285285 colors because htc's dumb?

  6. The new bottom bar, do you mean the logo? I don't remember if the out was small like that before or not. If that's not it is there supposed to be a new feature I'm missing?

  8. Hey Sam, has the issue with the icon removal add on conflicting with the been fixed with this release? A while back it was conflicting with the status bar pull down.

    Thanks

  9. Sam? What makes this a mandatory update? Does it fix the crash I get sometimes when I am typing in text boxes like these? I'll just be typing along and suddenly fade out, bootloop. Pull battery, all is well.

  10. the latest update seems to make my evo run low on memory. After running simple apps (simple?) like eternity warriors, pressing the home button brings me into the white HTC screen. I have to wait a while for my apps to load up on the home screen. It has gotten worse the pass couple of days. Coming out of Rom Manager brings me to the white HTC Screen. Any suggestions?

  11. @. Not yet.. coming very soon!

@dbw1964 This fixed the SU errors once and for all (which is also in the latest update).

@styrofoam sword After a game this is normal, after ROM Manager... this is not. You may be having adverse affects of the RAM tweak. Keep me posted on your "white screens."
